disconnections

i keep getting the following today. I am still connected to everything else just mirc/invision keeps dropping out with the following. any ideas please
[10053] Software caused connection abort

This is normal on IRC. Even though it says "software", that's just what Invision uses to tell you there was some problem with the connection.

There are various reasons for this, such as:
Timing out from excessive lag
Flooding the server
The famous "connection reset by peer"
Temporary loss of connection that would not affect most software

There are many other reasons... you just have to accept that IRC drops out often unless you have a really stable connection.
