I have just started using invision. the mirc 6.12/invision 2520 fix.rar from http://www.ircmadeasy.com .

The problem is that people can establish a dcc chat with me but can not see any of my files in the root directory.

I have set up two fservers to serve two diferent channels. In the first channel no one seems to see any files when they dcc chat with me. In the second channel some people can get files from me when they dcc chat with me while others can not. How wierd is that?

try checking your ports in your router or firewall... it maybe that some that access hit the one open port you have and the others are not as lucky

thanks for your suggestions. Still no joy. I have increased the number of forwarded ports to 100, 5000-5099. people still can dcc chat but not see my shared files in the root directory. a problem that affects most people but not everybody. so on some level my settings must be right.
very very strange if u ask me.

looked at the router section of http://www.ircmadeasy.com and tried to match all settings displayed there with my settings in mirc. yet still i've got this problem.

need more help badly. if u think u can help please reply. thanks.
