um..installing invision and getting it to work?

It's installed in the same directory as mIRC (C:\mIRC), when mIRC loads it has the invision graphics and icons etc, but none of the script commands I've seen other people use work, and when I try and PM people it says 'DBLCLICKNICK unknown command'. I've tried loading all the alias files myself too.

couldn't find any help in the help section for this so...anyone have an idea of what to do?

You almost certainly installed Invision while mIRC was running.
Do it again, but this time without mIRC running.
No need to uninstall first.
