MP3 listing.

a friend of mine has his "now playing" displayed in the channel, he is using winamp 2.5, wondering if anyone knows how I might acomplish this using winamp 2.97

This feature is actually built right into Invision, or I'm just special. I'm using WInamp3 and it still works.

Here is how to enable everything:

click on Invision in the toolbar, then mp3 server manager.

that will pop open a window. You'll need to hit the add button to select your mp3 directory.

next you'll want to click build index and select any settings you want there, then hit apply.

to start the mp3 server, right-click on the desktop and server controls->mp3 server->silent start or however you want to run it.

Now, right-click in channel and you'll see play media. At the bottom of the play media->mp3s you'll see advertise what I play in channel. Click that.

Now you can do selected or random play.

if you don't wish to run an mp3 server, then what you do is just right-click on the desktop, go to play media->mp3s-> play selected or random.

Then right-click on the desktop and display in channel->mp3 in play.
