Adding additional scripts to mirc/invision?

Postby Smitch » Mon Jun 30, 2003 11:38 pm

Is it possible to add another script to Mirc without affecting invision? Most scripts come as an installer or already built into the mirc executable. Is there a way to get around this?

Thanks

I wouldn't advice adding any complex scripts.
Invision is very complex itself and covers probably more areas than you can imagine.
It's almost certain there will be clashes between Invision and other sripts.

Small addons could work though.
See to that it's only a single script file that is not affecting any other files (like making changes in mirc.ini)

i run a few of fun scripts added to invision...stored as .mrc files in the MIRC folder ..these include
Dolphin/Dolfin Games/Excursion fun stuff/Slapper...
these are loaded in automatically by using the perform on connect funcion
and adding following command for each script:-
eg
/load -rs SlapperScript.mrc

This works gr8 for me :D
