HELP! I lose the file server settings upon changing servers

anytime my main irc.server changes I lose my stats, and all other settings as if I am setting up a new file server. How do I prevent this from happening?

Invision saves settings by IRC network so that you can customize the behaviour for each network.

But after a new installation of Invision, before connecting to any network, you can set most of the settings. And those settings will be applied to automatically to any new network you are connecting.

Well I am on the same network and every so often everything seems to reset. Very frustrasting. So where do I retreive my prefered settings? or do I have to start over every time?

One thing to remember - Never make two connections to the same network from the same client. That's a sure way of loosing you settings.

Make a copy of the settings dir and just put it back when you want to restore your settings.
