Adjusting Invision's on-board spam protection.

Postby red_out » Tue Jun 17, 2003 12:53 pm

I'm not referring to "OJ Killer" - I mean the one that's located in your Main Invision options. What I'm wondering is where the scripting for this might be located. I ask because I want to change the response people get when they spam me. Currently I am sending them something to do with mother jokes, and I assume some sort of statement that informs them they have spammed me.
I know that's a tough question, asking for the scripting location (seeing as we're not supposed to mess around with the original) but I'm getting a little tired of explaining to people why I sent them the message, what spam is, how to get rid of the spam-sending thing they copied and pasted.
Oh, while I'm asking for the next-to-impossible, how about whether I can have the spam protection include adding the person to the ignore list (yes, I realize this now looks like it should be put in the section for suggestions on the next build - hopefully no one minds if I put it here....). I also realize I could load Q-Script as a spam protecting addon, but if I don't have to do that, I'd rather not.

TIA.
