cant get my fileserver working

i have disabled the xp firewall, but still it wont work

i think i changed this
file --> options --> firewall --> and changed the port...maybe that could be it but i dont remember the original input

If you don't run a seperate firewall (outside of XP's built-in) and aren't behind a NAT router then Firewall should not be set. It's default is Firewall: None, Proxy: Socks 4, all boxes blank except Port which default is 1080. Make sure that under DCC>Server all the boxes are checked and the port is set to 59.
