Fserver not working...

I just installed invision 2 and tried to set up a file server, but for some reason ppl cannot see any files...another one says he cannot connect. Is it b/c of firewall settings?
I set the root directory to the directory I put my files in and it still won't work...
Any tip would be great, thanks
