i get always disconnected bc of the channel ban infos

Nope Cnils it didnt helped a new install actually 2 new installs . I had always the same result it works only 1 time and this is when i start Invision my first time and unchecked IAL before i join the channels. But after i restart, it keeps on doing it again that anoying chan scan.
I checked in Adv tab IAL and it was still unchecked. I think somehow it can't keep this setting.

What i've done always: 1. Installed Mirc 6.03. 2.Installed Invision2520. 3.Started Invision and unchecked IAL in Adv Tab and all the other settings in Main settings --> Options and Misc. of course to make sure i always apply first after i closed the Menu to make it 100% sure. Then i started to jon channels all worked fine (not 1 time a scan and infos of the channel bans) but after i closed Invision and restarted. It is doing it again (even the fact IAL box is unchecked and all other options too)

PLZ!! i really have a headache of it it, i didnt had that problem with my older Invision


PS:Both installs i didnt used the Wizard to get my old settings from my previous Invision install back. Always setted all new by myself to make sure.

Just a little test. Change line 23 in ialias1.mrc from
who { $iif( $nick($$1,0) < 400, .who $$1 ) | haltdef }
to
who { haltdef }

u dont believe me ,somehow oh wonder it works and the settings are still there. But there is still something odd. Mainly it works but sometimes i start Invision and all settings are gone and the problem comes back and after i restart it (sometimes more often sometimes less) the settings are back and all is back fine and working
Any clue? should i still try to do those settings, as a test?

My guess is that when the settings are gone, you have connected to a server not listed in mIRC config.
That could make Invision treat that specific server in the network as a separate network.
Check the network name Invision is currently using by accessing the Invision menu and read what it says in the - • • • Network name • • • - line.
If you have a different name when the settings are wrong, just add that server to mIRC's server list with the right group name.

yeah thats what i from the start on thought, too. That this IAL option was it. Which caused all those disconnects but since it was always unchecked after i looked after it. I got confused.....
But now it works fine and the other reason i talked about with why Invision kept loosing sometimes the settings i still can't figure it out but it seems that this prob dont happen anymore.
I only looses sometimes some settings but then it was after a system crash or a not properly closed Invision. So i think thats a minor prob which always can happen because it was maybe not really saved or still in the memory and then it got lost cause of the unregulare closing of the script....well its not a big deal so i can bear this ^^
