The cps/kBs setting is in Main Settings > ADV in the Defaults box (convert bitrate and convert bytes).

"can't fins sdrgghgsdg." doesn't sound like anything related to Invision. It's possible that you overwrote part of the script with that text or you have another script loaded that is causing problems. Try reinstalling Invision and see if that helps. You could also run the ScriptCheck (Invision menu > Tools > Run ScriptCheck) and see which script(s) may have been altered. That way you know which one(s) are messed up and you could just replace those files with good copies if you don't want to do a full reinstall. You could also try searching both aliases and remotes (Alt-R to get to the scripts, then under both Aliases and Remotes tabs, use Ctrl-F to search and make sure the checkbox is enabled for search all files) for sdrgghgsdg and see if maybe you can just remove that text. If you just inserted the text, removing it should be fine. If you overwrote what was there, then you'd need a good copy of the file.
You can find me at #Invision on irc.irchighway.net or #OldGames on irc.undernet.org if you need me for anything.
