For the newbs?

Postby plaquemaster » Sun Feb 14, 2010 7:41 pm

It seems that sometimes, developers get a bit wild.

In most cases, the user will have to authenticate his or herself as the bot's owner. I've meticulously poured over every bit of info that I could, but to no avail. A simple "start-up" guide would be an excellent addition to the package.

So, having opened the program, I have no idea where to begin. How do I establish myself as the bot's owner?

Bot's owner? Invision isn't a bot and there's no authentication you have to do with Invision. Invision is just normal mIRC with additional features. It's not a bot and shouldn't be used as one. If you're looking for a bot script, there are many smaller scripts out there that would be require less memory to run (bots don't need many features).

If you're talking about something else, please reply back with an explanation.
You can find me at #Invision on irc.irchighway.net or #OldGames on irc.undernet.org if you need me for anything.

Well now. That certainly explains a lot now doesn't it? LOL. Usually when I look for something that isn't there, I tend to not find it.

As a stand-alone client, I have to say it's superb. Thank you guys for your hard work. It's appreciated a lot more than you may think.
