play an mp3 everytime 1 user notices...

i need a sound alert everytime one user makes a notice... not all notices just this one user...

how do i go about doing this?


K i found soundFX in the sound Manager and i think made a custom one... i made a new trigger *text*text*, then i made it a notice, then i picked a wav...
So now everytime that notice comes up i should get that wav.. i hope i did it right lol

can someone let me know if i did it wrong


ETA: its not working... the user im referring to is using invision to have a notice that come up everyonce and awhile.. at least i think its a notice so whenever it comes up , i need a wav alert... i tried it in sound manager/soundFX but it isnt working

Thank you Riamus i used to use mirc in the late 90's and the coding has changed alot.

can I use an mp3 in that snippet also?

Yes, mp3 will work fine as well.

Note that if you have the ScriptGuard setting in Invision enabled, it will tell you when you start that there is an unknown file. That's normal anytime you add new scripts to Invision when that is enabled. Just ignore it or disable it.
