The first step... even if it's not where you want Invision installed, is to install it to somewhere without spaces and try it there. You can always keep the current one for use later if the spaces aren't the issue. Just install to somewhere like c:\invision\ and run it and change the connect on start setting. You shouldn't have to change any other settings, since that is the only one you're having issues with. Then, let it sit for a full minute before exiting and restarting and see if it works.
