invision lags?

i just got the new invision, and this thing lags on my system.

running windows vista 32 home

and by lagging, it just scrolls slow. right click response is slow, like when i do right click on a nickname and do a whois, it just scrolls slow. when i connect to a server its slow.

any ideas
