Downloads cancelling? no .rar file to get .iso or .bin .cue

well, started using invision again just yesterday and now when i try to download a file, it last for about 1 minute and dies. is this due to my ports or my router or just irc? i have a linksys wrtg54, if that helps, i really didnt have these problems before. i went through the ircmade easy site and did exactly what it said, i also went to port forward and tried their ports. i didnt set to static since it's to big of a hassle. is it my anti virus?

ok well i went through some sites and opened ports 4000-4005 in firewall, in router, and in irc itself, and it still dies. do i need to port trigger these ports or someting?

Does this happen from everyone you try downloading from, or are you trying from the same person? What version of mIRC and Invision are you using? What's changed since you could download... new router, new firewall, new ISP, etc? Do you have the same problem if you try downloading with just mIRC (without Invision installed)?

Chances are, it's either the other person's connection or else your ISP that is causing it. But that's just a guess based on the little information that you gave me.

well i really founded out that it was the bot. the connection i have with it isnt very good so i just chose to d/l off a different bot, thanks for the help though Riamus, you know your stuff...

but now i have a bit off a off topic question but, after i got done d/ling well crysis, i get 65 files and the .nfo the .sfv and no .rar contained inside the .tar, and it says to unrar(done), mount or burn(from what?), and install. the thing is, i dont have the .rar file to extract and get the .iso or .bin and .cue. so with those files named rzr-crys.01, rzr-crys.02, rzr-crys.03 etc. what am i suppose to do with those files? are they just incomplete or something? i get that with alot of my files, and there is the same thing, maybe im really being a noob, im just unsure.

Just open the .001 file in WinRAR.
