What would happen if I install in program files/mIrc, would it interfere with my irc? Thanks.

You should not install to any path that has spaces. If you did, it is *strongly* recommended that you move the folder to another location. You can just drag it out of program files and put it somewhere else.

If you decide to leave it in program files, then you risk having various problems related to that.
