Which MP3?

You can find me at #Invision on irc.irchighway.net or #OldGames on irc.undernet.org if you need me for anything.

I can't really choose a differnt folder. I get the errors just by clicking any of the commands under play media. The open dialog never even shows up. I'm using winamp v5.05. I've reinstalled invision and winamp both. neither have seemed to help any. I would prefer to just use mirc to play media but both ways seem to give me the same errors. So if I can get one or the other working I'll be happy with that.

Without winamp

Postby Riamus » Tue Mar 01, 2005 12:00 pm

Can you try uninstalling WinAmp and just use mirc's built-in player (the first option on main settings) and see if that helps? There have been problems in the past with WinAmp, but none were quite like this one... still, it's worth testing.

Also try turning off the "advertise in in channel" setting for music (that's in your right click menu).

If this still doesn't help, come see me in the #Invision channel listed below and we'll try some manual things. I'm not always there, but if you can stick around and just leave me a message, I'll get back to you as soon as I can. I won't be there for a few hours from now, so look at the time of this message when you get it and don't bother waiting around there right away. Others there might also be able to help you.
