File Server Explorer

Is there any way I can increase the width of the explorer window, or at least make it so I can maximize it and/or change the size of the panes. I frequently need to see beyond the current width due to long filenames, or else long lines when checking queues on dcc servers.

Press Alt-R. Then, go to the View menu and choose imiscmgr.mrc. Go to line 13. You should see:

size -1 -1 300 200

Change the 300 (width) and the 200 (height) to whatever you like.

I changed both of them to increase by 200, and there was no change in the size of the window, still the same size as before and still cannot resize and/or maximise

Ok, apparently there are two tables for the explorer... not sure why.

Anyhow, you can change those back to what they were. Then, go to line 40 in the same file and you should see:

size -1 -1 450 300

Change the 450 (height) and 300 (width).

This increased the 'outer' window, so I am assuming there is a window inside a window, will play with the values. Thanks.

Ok, if you want to increase those boxes as well, look for the EDIT lines in that section. You'll want to change the last two numbers on the lines (first is width, second is height).
