Invision

I'm running mIRC 6.14 w/Invision 3515. I was wondering if there is a way I can run multiple servers at the same time have different nick for each server? Thanks in advance.

If you mean servers as in networks like Undernet and Phazenet and such, then yes. Just connect to multiple ones and change your nick to whatever you want.

If you mean to have multiple fservs with different nicks in the same network, then you have to run multiple instances of Invision/mIRC (put them in different folders and run however many you want to at the same time). You can't run multiple fservs with different nicks in the same network with one copy of mIRC.

Yes, I mean multiple networks. I want to run my fserv on 1 network where nick=chessman. Then on all other networks (no fserv running) but different nick=chesswiz. When I open a new network, Invision changes my nick back to "chessman" (which is the nick on the first network I'm on). It won't keep the different nick (chesswiz) on the new networks I connect to.

If you've been to the other network with a different nick before, it should keep that for you. What mIRC are you running? That could possibly be part of it. I know that it works in 6.14.

Do you have Invision set to maintain your nick on that network? You probably have it set to maintain your one nick, so it keeps changing it.
