Serving but getting cpu spikes :(

I love this program but after running it and monitoring it and trying to play half life, i noticed that it spikes the cpu every 10 secs or so. I know this program is causing it because on my original mIRC i would download stuff and it never gave me problems while playing. Now am a server and my cpu is acting up for no reason. Is there any options i can turn off or something i can do to stop INVISION from spiking my cpu ? :cry:
