xdcc server failing to send?

Ok, ive had this problem before when i use to run invision script. Setting up the fserv or xdcc server whenever people tried to connect they always timed out or couldnt connect. there was something in the invision settings that always had to be altered and than it worked fine.

i run excursion as well and excursion will send files fine, i upgraded from xp home to xp pro last night, fresh install and wanted to try using invision again, well i cant send files from my xdcc server again, ive got a router, but the firewall is off and the port forwarding is set up.

router = lynksys wrt-54g
xp pro edition = firewall disabled

please help me figure this out, i know its something simple.
